Distinct Baltimore brands set up shops at BWI airport

BALTIMORE — Old Bay/McCormick Spice and KoDee Cakes, two homegrown Baltimore retailers, each has set up a shop at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.  

Old Bay/McCormick Spice and KoDee Cakes (both located in the AB food court) have opened kiosks that celebrate the food and flavors unique toBaltimore. Founded in Baltimore in 1889, Old Bay/McCormick Spice offers a variety of herbs, spices, and seasonings. With a location in Hampden, KoDee Cakes is known in Baltimore for beautifully handcrafted cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and tarts made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.

“We are committed to bringing a variety of local companies to the AIRMALL at BWI Marshall,” said Brett Kelly, vice president of AIRMALL Maryland. “McCormick and KoDee Cakes are two great local brands that we’re proud to bring to the airport, and they will further enhance the local flair that makes our airport unique.”
